MERSEM’2008 Türkiye VI. Mermer ve Doğal taş Sempozyumu, Türk Mühendis Mimar Odaları Birliği Maden Mühendisleri Odası Afyonkarahisar İl Temsilciliği, Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi, Afyon Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası ve Türkiye Mermer Doğal taş ve Makinaları Üreticileri Birliği tarafından 26-27 Haziran 2008 tarihlerinde Afyonkarahisar’da düzenlenecektir.

Sempozyumun amacı, Mermer ve Doğal Taş Sektöründeki sorunların incelenmesi ve tartışılması, teknik ve bilimsel gelişmelerin geniş kitlelere aktarılması, araştırmacı, işletmeci, firma temsilcisi ve yönetici çevrelerin aynı platformda buluşturularak yakın bir iletişimin sağlanmasıdır.

MERSEM’2008 The Sixth Turkey Marble and Natural Stone Symposium will be held by TMMOB (Union of Chambers of Turkish Mining Engineers) Chambers of Mining Engineers Afyonkarahisar Provincial Representative, Afyon Kocatepe University, Afyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Turkish Association Of Marble Natural Stone And Machinery Producers on 26-27 June 2008 in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey.

The symposium aims to investigate and discuss problems experienced in marble and natural stone industry, transfer the technical and scientific developments to large mass, provide an opportunity for close communication by bringing researchers, managers, company owners, company representatives and managers together in a same platform.

Sempozyumun dili Türkçe ve İngilizce dir. Uluslararası başka resmi dillerde yazılmış bildiriler de Türkçe veya İngilizce çevirileriyle birlikte kabul edilecektir. Bu bildiriler sempozyum kitabında her iki dilde de yayınlanacaktır.

The symposium languages are Turkish and English. International papers written in other languages will be accepted with their Turkish or English translations. These papers will be published in the symposium proceedings book in both languages.

Sempozyuma bildirili veya bildirisiz katılmak isteyen tüm delegelerin kayıt olması gerekmektedir. Katılım ücreti 200 YTL olup oturumlara katılım, bildiriler kitabı, öğle yemekleri, kokteyl ve armağanları kapsamaktadır.

Sempozyumda bildirisini sunan delegelerden katılım ücreti alınmaz.

All delegates should register whether they attend the symposium with or without a paper. The registration fee is € 200 and it includes a proceeding book, lunches, cocktails, gifts and gives attendees right to attend any session they wish.

Registration fee is not required from delegates who will present their papers at the symposium.
